I am generating THz by a two colour mixing technique using BBO crystal. I am using a pyroelectric detector after Michelson interferometer(MI) by blocking all the optical using HRFZ Si. My first problem is that I am unable to get the exact the Field autocorrelation signals in the MI scans. My expected THz range is between 5-30 THz from the earlier scans from the similar setups, but the reliability is not soo good in my setup. I want to improve my signal to noise ratio.
Second thing is I want a test sample which works as a test bench for the THz spectrum I am observing is to be verified. I want to correlate one to one absorption peaks in the 5-30 THz spectrum range for a test sample.
